Orfeo en el Caribe (Atmósfera Literaria, 2013)

Sinopsis:
Orfeo Vázquez, a handsome mulatto, plays the conga drum in a salsa band, but dreams of performing classical music. He falls in love with Eury, a plump young woman who loves to read Charlotte Brontë’s novels. Things get complicated when Eury’s sister, a curvaceous redhead, attempts to seduce the musician. The three of them plan to leave Cuba on a boat, despite the fact that a hurricane approaches the island. But Amphitrite (or Yemayá, as she is called in Havana) has other plans for them.
