I met Marcela Landres, the amazing Manuscript Madrina and publisher of Latinidad, twenty years ago at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, in Albuquerque, where she was a presenter at a Latino Writers conference. Later, I booked a phone consultation and she gave me excellent advice before the publication of my first novel. I still have several pages of the notes I took during our conversation, which have served me well for all my other books.
I interviewed her for Latino Stories. Here is the link to the interview. Hope you enjoy it!
